Mentoring

Storytelling photographer

Hello! I’m Coralie (of the Valley) !

I’m a photographer specializing in solo portraits, couples, lifestyle, and weddings.

I decided to start mentoring to support others who dream of stepping into this beautiful adventure that is photography.

Choosing this career has changed my life in countless ways — so it feels only natural to help others experience the same transformation.

My journey

Photographe spécialisée en portrait & mariage en Belgique

I studied art history with a specialization in musicology.
After finishing my master’s degree, I spent two years traveling non-stop.
I came back from Aotearoa in July 2020, right in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic — feeling completely lost and unsure what my life would become.

Thanks to some very direct and wise advice (and the repeated encouragement of my grandmother), I finally decided to launch my own photography business.

Honestly, I’m still surprised it took me so long to realize that:
– photography is a real career
– it was the career meant for me!

I started photography when I was 14, alongside my now-wedding-partner Alyne — back then, we practiced on our friends.
At university, I kept shooting parties and formal events, but less and less over time. I was always the one bringing a camera to family gatherings and birthdays — and that’s when I realized how much I loved capturing life as it unfolds, and how precious it is to preserve memories. While traveling, I picked up my camera again to document my journeys.

And when I came back to Belgium, I dove back in fully — photographing my cousins and friends, and never looking back.
